Project Coordinator

Position: Project Coordinator – Low Voltage Systems

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in low voltage systems, including LAN, WLAN, VOIP/PA, surveillance, and intrusion systems.
  • Must have graduated from a recognized college or university. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree on a year-for-year basis.
  • Candidate must reside within 30 miles of Los Angeles at the time of hiring.

Overview: IMRI is seeking a qualified Project Coordinator to provide services for the Information Technology Services department. The selected candidate will possess both technical expertise and strong leadership skills to support the successful coordination of projects. The work order will require on-site presence at t Soto Street office.

Scope of Services: The Project Coordinator will work closely with the project team to ensure the timely and effective execution of project responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Task Management: Track and complete tasks such as change orders, Requests for Change (RFCs), and project-related documentation within set deadlines.
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between project stakeholders, team members, and management to ensure clear and effective communication.
  • Scheduling: Work alongside the project manager to maintain project schedules, ensuring that deadlines and milestones are met.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks that may affect project outcomes.
  • Documentation: Create and manage essential project documentation, including project plans, reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track project progress, identify any deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve project issues and challenges promptly and efficiently.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular status reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), for stakeholders.
  • Administrative and Project Support: Conduct site visits for job walks, inventories, and job start meetings. Provide administrative support to the project manager by scheduling meetings, managing project files, procuring equipment, coordinating with departments, reviewing estimates and proposals, and processing invoices.
