Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. We are currently seeking an HR Generalist - Recruitment focus to join our team. The position will be located in Valley Green, PA.  

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for HR-related functions with a primary focus on exempt staffing/recruitment and works closely with Managers and Supervisors to support US locations.  This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas:  Staffing/Recruitment/Employment, Compensation, Policy Implementation, Coaching, Immigration, Training, Compliance, HRIS Data Management, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • HR business partner with internal management team to facilitate organizational changes and staffing needs including new roles, replacements, and employee development.

  • Collaborate with the hiring managers to identify job description roles and responsibilities aligning salary range to internal equities and external benchmarks

  • Manage talent acquisition program to recruit and maintain contact with potential candidates to efficiently connect qualified candidates with hiring managers. Recruiting Engineering, finance, Operations, Marketing, and  IT exempt level roles with minimal external recruiting assistance.

  • Oversee and coordinate Summer Internship Program developing roles with hiring managers, attending career fairs promoting company brand, recruiting students, and organizing intern activities from orientation to final presentations

  • Coordinate employee life cycle from Onboarding Orientation to off boarding exit interviews and transitions through career progression

  • Project management of immigration cases. Primary point of contact for our employees, managers, and outside counsel on all matters related to immigration. Preparing H and L petitions and renewals through EAD process.

  • Other responsibilities as needed to support employees across multiple locations

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree

  • 5+ years in progressive HR roles with a focus of 2-5 years experience talent acquisition and recruiting life cycle (exempt roles)

  • Experience with Applicant Tracking System software (Acquire) and LinkedIn Recruiter

  • Strong computer skills including Excel, Powerpoint, and office skills

  • Experience and knowledge of compliance initiatives like FLSA, FMLA, ADA, OSHA and Affirmative Action requirements.  Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. 

  • Organizational development experience

  • Detail-oriented but can see the big picture.  Customer-focused, organized, flexible, adaptable, analytical.

  • Able to work with various levels of the organization

  • Self-starter, attentive to detail, and customer service oriented
