Th Facilities Maintenance Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the proper operation, safety, and functionality of buildings, facilities, and equipment. This role involves performing a variety of tasks related to maintenance, repair, and upkeep to create a safe, clean, and efficient environment for employees, visitors, and occupants.
HOURS
- The Facilities Maintenance Specialist opportunity offers work/life balance with a Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM to 4 PM core schedule with an occasional requirement outside of the core hours.

- Have a valid driver's license

- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures
- Have the ability to anticipate situations, evaluate problems and create solutions with a confident and logical approach.
- Will have strong overall interpersonal skills including; oral, written and listening.
OPPORTUNITY
The Facilities Maintenance Specialist will....
- Perform routine inspections around buildings and grounds and address any maintenance issues promptly.
- Repair and maintain or replace electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems as well as lights, locks, plumbing, and faucets.
- Perform basic carpentry work, including repairing doors, windows, and walls.
- Assemble, erect, and reconfigure office and systems furniture on a small project basis.
- Run low voltage wiring through systems furniture.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues in systems furniture.
- Execute scheduled preventative maintenance tasks on equipment and systems.
- Respond to repair requests and work orders, coordinating with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.
- Maintain the exterior of the facility, including landscaping and parking areas.
- Clear snow, ice, and debris from walkways and parking lots occasionally during inclement weather.
- Ensure proper disposal of trash and recyclables.
- Maintain inventory keeping an organized stock of supplies needed for maintenance tasks.
- Track and document maintenance repairs and inspections and keep accurate logs for compliance purposes.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations, such as leaks, power outages, and equipment failures, taking appropriate actions to minimize downtime.

Compensation & Benefits:
- The anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $20.00 - $26.00. Hourly pay rate offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, and geographic location as compared to others doing substantially similar work . In addition to the hourly rate of pay, employees may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which can vary depending on individual and/or company performance.
