Housekeeper

Position Summary:

A busy family with a large residence in Brooklyn Heights, NY would like to hire a professional Housekeeper to join their fully staffed home.

 

Responsibilities:

Work alongside the established team assuming responsibility for the general and specialty cleaning of the home, including care of specialty materials and surfaces, performing a daily walkthrough, following a cleaning schedule, and caring for the principals' clothing and wardrobes (including some laundry, steaming, etc.). Comfort and confidence in providing ancillary support to the Chef and Butler in their duties. This professional will also assist with provisioning the home, errands, and providing care for one small friendly dog.

 

Qualifications:

The right person is kind, has a great attitude, enjoys their work, and embraces the opportunity to work independently and as part of a team. Must have prior experience working as a housekeeper in a fine home for a private employer. Exceptional hands-on cleaning and laundry skills are required. The ideal candidate is seeking a long-term opportunity.

 

Schedule:

The schedule for this role is:

• Wednesday – Friday (Generally from 9:00am – 5:00pm).
• Saturday & Sunday (Alternating between 9:00am – 5:00pm & 12:00pm – 8:00pm).

 

Top Compensation:

• $45 - $50 per hour, depending on experience.
