Overnight Companion

Position Summary:

We're currently in search of a seasoned and refined Companion, adept at handling overnight stays. This position is centered around offering indispensable assistance to the principal, aiding with personal care, daily responsibilities, and smoothly assimilating as a dependable team player within the household.

 

Responsibilities:

• Provide a presence in the home overnights while the principal is asleep, assisting with evening and morning duties as needed.
• Daily reporting to family members or designated staff members.
• Able to assist the principal with administration of medication. 
• Attentive while principal showers; available to help when dressing.
• Assist principal in emergency situations, calmly evaluate the situation and call for the proper assistance.
• Evening turn-down the master bedroom, including curtains and lighting.

 

Qualifications:

• Gracious, experienced, and quiet, with previous private home experience.
• Confidential and discreet, with respect for principal’s privacy. 
• Positive attitude and pleasant personality.
• Willing to accept instruction and conform to principal’s preferences.
• Possess current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Willing to work with family members and other household staff in a team environment.
• Able to communicate effectively and readily with manager and principals.

 

Schedule: The schedule for this position is 3-4 overnights, with typical hours from 7:00pm to 7:00am.

 

Compensation: The compensation rate for this position is $30.00 per hour as a starting pay, which may vary depending on the candidate's level of experience.
