Administrative Tooling Technician

WHAT YOU'LL DO

We are seeking a skilled Administrative Tooling Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be capable of performing basic tooling administration, tracking tooling costs, and executing various tooling tasks as necessary. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and possess a strong aptitude for both administrative duties and practical work with tools. Duties Include:

  • Maintaining accurate records of tooling inventory, cost tracking, work orders, and maintenance schedules
  • Coordinating with tooling staff, ensuring timely completion of tasks
  • Updating documentation related to tooling control, validation, and maintenance history
  • Performing routine maintenance and repair of various tools and equipment
  • Collaborating with production teams to understand tooling requirements and providing necessary support
  • Assisting in the setup and adjustment of tools for manufacturing as needed
  • Able to adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while handling tools and equipment
  • Must ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications for all tooling operations
  • Participating in safety training programs and contribute to creating a culture of safety within the workplace

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Additional technical certification, training, or experience in administration
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and experience with tooling management software is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • Open to new ideas, challenges, and learning opportunities
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future
