Family Practice Physician - OB Interest
FULL TIME POSITION
Osborn Family Health Center is looking for a compassionate, caring Family Medicine Physician with OB/Gyn experience (min. 2years) to provide well-woman checks, family planning, prenatal, intrapartum, and post-partum care to our patients as well as evaluating general gyn concerns, vaginal health and addressing pre- and post-Menopausal concerns in Outpatient Setting. Will consider physicians willing to provide both OB/Gyn and Adult Medicine care.
Physicians working for an FQHC are eligible for the Federal Loan Repayment Program.

Qualifications
- Current New Jersey medical license.
- Board eligible/ certified
- DEA
- Family Medicine physician- with 2 years OBGYN experience.
- BLS certification.
- Knowledge of Intergy and EPIC will be helpful.
POSITION SUMMARY: Physician provides comprehensive care in the Obstetrics and Gynecology outpatient practice in collaboration with a multidisciplinary health care team.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Independently conduct patient visits in the outpatient office.
- Evaluate and treat patients including prenatal, postpartum, and comprehensive gynecologic outpatient care across the lifespan.
- Order and collect data using appropriate assessment techniques, relevant supporting diagnostic information and diagnostic procedures where indicated.
- Implement appropriate treatment and reevaluation of patients after treatment.
- Perform office procedures consistent with privileges and competency validation.
- Complete timely documentation of patient encounters.
- Perform and/or supervise nurses performing phone triage for patients.
- Provide appropriate patient teaching.
- Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with the interdisciplinary health care team.
- Demonstrate sensitivity to patient comfort, privacy, and cultural considerations.
- Enhance professional growth and development through participation in continuing education.
- Attend department meetings and serve on committees when indicated.
- Assist in the education of learners within the department.
- Demonstrate professional behavior in patient and colleague interactions.
