Freight Broker (Base, Plus Comm.)

This lucrative opportunity is for ACTIVE Freight Brokers with a current and active book of business.

Pay: $40K base and up to $350K+ from commissions.
Schedule: Full-Time
Location: Remote or office in Kansas City, MO USA

Broker Responsibilities:
- Must have 1+ year of experience as a Freight Broker and an established/current book of business
- Quote and cover truckload shipments
- Contact, negotiate and secure carriers for available/open loads
- Maximize profit of each load by negotiating with customers and carriers to ensure proper profit margins
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients
- Ability to bid on dedicated contract opportunities
- Negotiate price, service and terms with both the client and carrier
