ASSEMBLER - CRIMPING

For 30 years, Dynomax, Inc., a family owned business, has designed, manufactured, and developed high-precision machined components, injection molding and tooling, sub-assemblies, automated work cells, specialty machines, and machine tool spindles. We are seeking a 1st Shift Assembler who will work with electrical components used in the aerospace and defense industries. Starting Pay is $18.00/hour.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Assembler will be responsible for making wire bundles, as well as crimping the contacts using the automatic or manual crimper. Assemblers also visually inspect components to ensure for quality.

• Determine the specifications of the assignment at hand and which materials and which size crimping machine are needed to complete it
• Check the router prior to the crimping process for usage of the proper material
• Load bundles/sleeves into the manual table crimping machine and run production
• Ensure parts are inserted into the drop gage when required
• Report production concerns to department Supervisor and/or QC
• Separate production runs on an hourly basis

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Proficient in counting, adding and subtracting numbers
• Ability to ask questions as appropriate to job function/s
• Ability to communicate effectively & understand directions given in the English language
• Ability to read and write in the English language in relation to the job functions and responsibilities required
• Ability to use microscope in order to properly load micro-miniature parts into manual table crimping machine
• Ability to actively listen to and carry out work instructions
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and effectively share information in a timely fashion
