Administrative Assistant - Procurement
POSITION SUMMARY:
Assist Procurement Manager with coordinating all aspects of procurement: Acquisition/Storage/Disposal

- Communicates via phone/email to all vendors, managers and others as needed.
- Creates scheduled meetings to assist with coordination of procurement needs.
- Performs data entry and similar tasks to assist with coordination of procurement needs.
- Maintains information related to procurement operations/specific procurement purchases.
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
