Responsibilities:

• Building and Customizing heavy & light duty vehicles with a variety of parts to customer specs.
• Wiring electrical components to an assortment of vehicles.
• Reading and understanding repair orders.
• Mechanical experience with light and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Ability to weld and fabricate on a semi-regular basis
• Knowledge of truck equipment and electrical systems
• Must be self-sufficient and driven.
• Successful applicants must provide their own tools.
• Ensure a timely turnaround of vehicles.
• Fast Learner with a Problem-Solving Attitude
• Majority of work performed in a shop
• Keeps shop area neat and clean.
• Ability to use carts, forklifts, hand truck, pallet, jack, hand and power tools

 

Requirements:

• Attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
• Repeat tasks of various durations according to a set procedure
• 2+ years of experience preferred
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with others
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with a team
• Basic computer skills
