The opportunity:

Lakefield Veterinary Group is growing! We are seeking a Hospital Administrator in Training to help support the growth and development of our practices. The perfect candidate will have a veterinary background and strong people management skills. You will be responsible for working alongside the medical director and current hospital administration team to accomplish our growth and development goals and support our mission of fostering well-being in the community by tending to the human animal bond with compassionate medical care, emotional support for caregivers and community outreach.

A qualified candidate will have minimum:

  • 3 years of experience in management and growth of a health care related business.
  • Proven background in creating and growing a positive organizational culture through leadership and collaboration.
  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
  • Veterinary background preferred.

We are looking for a great cultural fit.  A strong candidate will also possess a positive attitude and strong intrapersonal skills; have the desire to teach and develop emerging leaders within our team; be a critical thinker with an aptitude for problem solving, as well as have excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Lastly, the successful candidate is a leader who will thrive in a fast paced, multi-faceted, high growth hospital environment. A successful Hospital Administrator will be available to work hours to support the practice as needed.
