The Senior Environmental Employment (SEE) Program offers unique opportunities in Scientific, Technical, and Administrative / Office support for individuals aged 55 and over to support the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through a grant administered program through National Experienced Workforce Solutions (NEW Solutions).
This is a unique program where your talents, expertise and experience will truly be valued.   You'll be working side-by-side with EPA staff that are doing important work every day.

NEW Solutions is proud to connect professionals, aged 55+, with part-time and full-time opportunities throughout the country.
These are non-federal, grant-administered positions and are not meant to compete with private sector wages. 
Duties range from clerical and administrative to technical and scientific.

Computer software skills required for most positions:  Word, Excel (charts and graph experience a plus) Outlook, Teams, SharePoint.

Additional software skills that may be required or helpful additions: Access (or other database systems), PowerPoint, Publisher, Adobe, Skype, Office 365 apps,

Previous environmental industry experience and or education a plus. 

 

Pay and Benefits.
Hourly Pay.  Starting hourly wage is based on the Position Tier designation. (Tier A $16.20/hour, Tier B $19.21/hour, Tier C $22.21/hour)
Paid Health Insurance Premium when working minimum 60 hours in a 2 week pay period.

Accrued Paid Vacation and Paid Sick Leave.  Accrual starts day one, no waiting period!

11 Paid Federal Holidays Plus One Individual Holiday.

Vision and Dental Insurance option available through payroll deduction.
 

SEE Program positions require a background security check including: 5-year questionnaire, fingerprinting and identification verification prior to start.   
Clearance to start work at EPA takes approximately 8-20 weeks.
 

SEE Program position regular workplace is onsite at the designated EPA location.  
Position location availability may include San Francisco CA, Denver CO, Lenexa KS, Dallas TX, Montgomery AL, Arlington VA, Washington DC, Boston MA, Edison NJ, Executive Park NC, Atlanta, GA
