POSITION SUMMARY: The Firefighter responds to and mitigates emergency fires and
EMS calls. Under the direct supervision of a fire captain or Incident
Commander, the firefighter controls and extinguishes fires, protects life and
property, and maintains equipment according to the Standard Operating Procedures
(SOPs) of the City of Branson. This position work under the direct supervision
of a Fire Captain normally and reports indirectly to the Fire Commanders and
Fire Chiefs.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Fire Prevention Officer, is a member of the City of
Branson Fire Department, and performs work consisting of technical and
specialized fire code inspections, fire safety education program presentation,
and fire cause determination at fire incidents. This position also performs an
eclectic set of varying duties within the scope of the Fire-Rescue Service that
may change daily and as assigned. This position works under the direct
