JOB SUMMARY:
Answers incoming emergency and non-emergency calls for service and general
information calls. Prioritizes and assigns call to appropriate department for
response. Answers radio traffic and monitors available and assigned units via
Computer Aided Dispatch Systems. Runs confidential computer programs.
May be required to work within the communications center in a solo capacity.
May be assigned as an acting supervisor in their ab
