This Production Supervisor is responsible for the safe manufacture of company
products which may represent a broad diversity of manufacturing processes.
Accountable for running an operation in a safe, timely, quality, cost efficient
and productive manner. Has accountability for achieving department measurements
on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis. Individual may supervise multiple
functions and/or shifts typically through shift/department leads.
Duties/Resp
This position is responsible for reviewing procurement requirements, placing,
following up, expediting and negotiating purchase orders.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Participates in the manufacturing planning to coordinate materials supply to
meet Master Schedule or Revenue plans.
Responsible for key metrics for assigned commodities (PPV, Supplier
Delivery, PO Maintenance).
Responsible for and works independently on most standard procurement activi
