Signal Integrity Engineer

Signal Integrity Engineer - Design, simulation, characterization, and application of high-speed electrical connectors and cable-based interconnect. Component development as well as customer support on new product introduction. Contribute to an established team of dedicated signal integrity engineers and engineers of other disciplines. Share knowledge and pursue continuous improvement in methods and workflows. Collaborate multi-disciplinary teams in the development of next generation high speed I/O interconnect Products. Assist with providing solutions to customers across a wide range of sectors with their high-speed data transmission requirements. Support the internal Sales Engineers to develop strategies for product break-in at existing and new accounts based on signal integrity and electrical engineering expertise. Identify and resolve signal Integrity issues in PCB layout. Design, build, and measure circuit boards for measurement and verification of products. Apply circuit theory and high-speed digital transmission, PCB layout principles for high­ speed digital design.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in electrical engineering  or a closely related field, and three years of experience in the job offered or related field of electrical engineering; or in the alternative, a master’s degree and one year of experience.

If qualifying by a bachelors’ degree, must have at least 3 years’ experience with S-parameters and Ansys HFSS, as well as 3 years’ experience with RF, Electromagnetics or Signal Integrity.

If qualifying by a master’s degree, must have at least 1 year experience with S-parameters and Ansys HFSS, as well as 1 year experience with RF, Electromagnetics or Signal Integrity.
