Lending Quality Control Specialist

GENERAL SUMMARY

Performs duties in support of EFCU’s back-office lending operations.  Performs quality control audits and reviews on unsecured loan records and products.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1.  Reviews unsecured loan and loan documents for accuracy and adherence with Erie FCU policy, procedure and rate schedules as well as NCUA and federal regulations.

2.  Reviews credit cards and credit card documents as well as PSCU system for accuracy and adherence with Erie FCU policy, procedure and rate schedules as well as NCUA and federal regulations.

3. Perform daily Scan Audits to guarantee correct indexing and imaging clarity of scanned lending and account documents.

4.  Monitor and report on loan documentation and creation errors.

5.  Validates unsecured consumer loans as needed.

6.  Monitor and review loan maintenance and ensure proper documentation support of changes.

7.  Monitor all waived insurance on open loans with collateral.

8.  Assist with review of 1098’s.

9.  Monitor loans with balances within set report parameters and assist members with ensuring final payoff.

10. Monitor and report on system, workflow, policy and procedure issues found through audit process or notification by staff.

11. Monitor and review various reports to ensure adherence with policy, procedure, and regulation.

12. Maintain current knowledge of all Credit Union policies and procedures, including compliance with federal laws and regulations as set forth by the NCUA and other regulatory agencies.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

1.  Requires professional, well developed interpersonal skills for communicating with members, vendors and co-workers.

2.  Requires completion of high school education.

3.  Requires one year of experience in a financial institution or related clerical position.

4.  Intermediate mathematical skills required.

5.  Must be detailed oriented.

6.  Requires a person who can multi-task.

7.  Requires PC proficiency and knowledge of Office Suite.
