Job Summary

The Warehouse Solutions Field Service Manager position is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the Warehouse Solutions Service Department. This includes providing leadership and setting expectations for team members, removing obstacles to ensure efficient workflow across the service departments, and partnering with other departments to ensure the technicians have needed items for repairs.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and control field service scheduling, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and dispatching.
  • Supervise and support field technicians, customer team coordinators and service writers, ensuring efficiency, training, and adherence to safety protocols, dispatching and quote responses per requirements.
  • Oversee the work order process, ensuring accurate documentation and timely completion including PM completion, repeat service calls, and 4-hour average response time.
  • Track and monitor technician effective rate/productivity, safety incidents and training compliance.
  • Promote ProLift Toyota Material Handling's values, mission and purpose of "Helping People Carry the Load" to ensure we are customers', vendors' and associates' "Indispensable Partner".

Educational/Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, five to seven years of management experience, mechanical aptitude and service experience, and display efficiency in Microsoft products such as Word, Outlook, and Excel. This position will require travel up to 60% of the time, with some overnight travel. Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR is required, Class B is preferred. The Warehouse Solutions Field Service Manager will communicate with associates, customers and managers, which requires excellent verbal and written communication skills with a particular emphasis on listening skills. The ideal candidate will protect the organization's values by maintaining confidential information utilizing their ability to handle sensitive information.
