National Sales Representative
The Sales Representative is responsible for enhancing and growing the customer/logistics base of ATS Logistics Services, Inc. using a consultative sales process. The National Sales Representative will use innovative prospecting and relationship tools to secure business and increase the revenue share for ATS Logistics. Evaluate and maintain internal and external logistics data to ensure accuracy, proper record keeping, and forecasting. At ATS we're looking for charismatic inside sales reps from all backgrounds to grow with our dynamic team. Base salary range of $47,000 - $57,000 plus opportunity to earn monthly incentive based on revenue, gross margin dollars and activity goals. Earnings for successful & motivated sales representatives of $150,000 or beyond.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct strategic planning efforts to achieve sales results in support of department goals
- Interface with Sales Development Representatives, Key Accounts Representatives, Operations teams, and Leadership personnel to ensure customer needs are met.
- Track and record market trends and provide data driven quotes. Work with assigned team lead to coordinate proposals and bids throughout the process to create a win-win for both ATS and the customer.
- Negotiate with customers, recording all terms and conditions of logistics agreements.
- Use a consultative sales process to build long-term relationships with customers; utilize product and service knowledge to articulate ATS's value proposition to customers.
- Assist with developing, maintaining productive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Balance team and individual responsibilities; give and welcome feedback; contribute to building positive team culture.

- Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours, and infrequent travel may be required.

Qualifications
- Higher education (two- or four-year degree) preferred but not required.
- One or more year(s) of experience B2B sales preferred.
- A firm understanding of marketing strategies, sales tools, and customer service principles.
- An innovative thinker with results driven success.
- Excellent presentation and staging skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet (social media, internet databases and research tools).
- Strong problem-solving and analytic skills with a metrics and results driven approach.
- Strong work ethic and sense of integrity; trustworthy.
- Excellent customer service and retention skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written).
- Willing and able to travel occasionally, including overnight travel.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary of this position is $47,000 - $57,000 plus opportunity to earn monthly incentive based on revenue, gross margin dollars and activity goals. Base salary offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, and geographic location as compared to others doing substantially similar work. In addition to the base salary, employees may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which can vary depending on individual and/or company performance.
