What Will You Do?

As a Lead Technician, you will be at the heart of our service team, leading by example and mentoring other technicians. This is not just a job—it's an opportunity to make a real impact. Here's what you'll be doing:

Perform Critical Repairs: You'll still be working hands-on, diagnosing and fixing machinery with precision and care. Your expertise will be key to keeping our equipment running smoothly.
Train and Mentor the Next Generation: Share your knowledge with junior techs, guiding them through repairs, safety, and best practices. Watch them grow as you build their skills and confidence.
Optimize Service Efficiency: Lead by example in troubleshooting, repair processes, and time management. Ensure our team works like a well-oiled machine!
Drive Safety and Excellence: Ensure the highest standards of safety and quality are maintained across the board. Your leadership will help us deliver exceptional service every time.

What We're Looking For:

  • Education & Experience:

    • GED/High School Diploma, with a Diesel Technology, Ag Technology, Automotive Technology, or Heavy Equipment Technology degree (or equivalent experience).
    • 2-5 years of experience working on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, or heavy equipment maintenance.
    • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.
    • Welding and cutting torch skills are a bonus!
  • Skills & Qualities:

    • Strong problem-solving ability and technical expertise.
    • A passion for teaching and mentoring others.
    • Excellent communication skills, both with your team and customers.
    • Safety-conscious and committed to best practices.
    • Adaptability and a positive, can-do attitude!

Physical Requirements:
This role requires you to be active and on your feet, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with heavy machinery. You'll be climbing, bending, and inspecting large equipment, ensuring repairs are made to the highest standards.
