About the Role:
As a Field Technician at Southeastern Equipment, you'll be the MVP on the job, performing diagnostics and making repairs on both company-owned and customer-owned equipment in the field. While we are a CASE dealer, you'll work with 80 different lines of equipment and attachments—no two days will be the same!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform equipment repairs and maintenance, following manufacturer standards.
- Complete all required certifications, ongoing education, and dealer training.
- Diagnose and repair machine systems, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment on both shop floors and customer job sites.
- Operate heavy equipment and trucks safely.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles with care.
- Ensure paperwork and job records are completed accurately and on time.
- Develop positive relationships with customers, service, parts, and administrative teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
- GED/High School Diploma required. Plus, a minimum of 2 years of Diesel, Ag, Automotive, or Heavy Equipment Technology training, or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years of experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems preferred.
- Basic tool set and storage required.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a CDL and insurable driving record.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening, including medical marijuana.
- Physical ability to stand, lift, and carry 75 lbs. or more.
