Receiving & Incoming Quality Inspector - 2nd Shift

The Role

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Receiving & Incoming Quality Inspector - 2nd Shift to work out of its brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Mesa. 

The key responsibilities of this Receiving & Incoming Quality Inspector include, but are not limited to:

  • Incoming Receiving Inspection and material certification review for assembly components.
  • Inspection and acceptance of raw materials such as metal bars and coils.
  • Inspects purchased parts & materials for conformance to specifications. Examines items for defects in materials, work, and damage occurring in transit, inspects and measures items for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment, and functional operation, according to prints, parts manuals, company standards, and other specifications (using microscopes, micrometers, dial calipers, gages, etc.)
  • Approves or rejects items, and records inspection and disposition information
  • Reading, interpreting, and working to blueprints, drawings, and process and design specifications.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Receiving & Incoming Quality Inspector  at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:

  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and possess High School or equivalent diploma.
  • College education is a plus
  • Must have the ability to work on multiple projects within the same day
  • Must have the ability to follow directions, work independently and with minimal supervision 
  • Works with a flexible schedule and demonstrates effective time management
  • Frequent and repetitive use of hands – pinching, grasping, turning of wrists
  • Push, pull, or lift to 35 lbs.
  • Vision acuity 20/25 (with or without corrective lenses), must pass annual eye exam.
