Weekend Nanny Housekeeper

Position Summary:

 

Our client is hiring a weekend Nanny / Housekeeper to provide support and assistance in caring for one child and keeping their Palm Beach home tidy.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Work as a team with the parents to oversee the daily aspects of the child's safety, hygiene, meals, playtime, and general behavior.
• Confidently care for the child while parents are out of the home.
• Provide a stimulating environment to enhance the basic development skills of the child with age appropriate indoor and outdoor activities.
• Drive the child to playdates and activities.
• Perform daily graces, making beds, touching up bathrooms and kitchen.
• Empty dish washer, tidy up, and take out the trash
• Prepare simple, healthy meals for the child
• Manage laundry as needed.
• Grocery shopping and running errands if requested.
• Help care for family cats.

 

Qualifications:

 

• Previous experience as a Nanny or Family Assistant caring for school aged children.
• Strong organizational skills and time management
• Self-starter who works well independently
• Flexible to changes in routine
• Trustworthy, dependable and discreet
• Valid driver's license
• Strong swimmer capable of supervising a child in a swimming pool

 

 

Schedule:

Generally, Saturday and Sunday 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. There is a possibility for additional hours during the week if your schedule allows (not required).

 

Compensation:

$40-$45/hour commensurate with experience.
