Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for supporting the sales and order fulfilment activity by providing a seamless customer experience
Essential Functions:
- Perform all essential duties and execute sales plans assigned by Branch General Manager, to achieve revenue and profit goals for assigned customers
- Build and maintain productive customer relationships to quickly and effectively solve customer problems
- Accurately process customer orders and make outbound calls to customers to fill trucks
- Partner and support outside sales team to provide seamless, loyalty building customer service
- Actively probe to uncover customer needs and offers appropriate product recommendations
- Stay current on issues affecting our business, industry, and the global product supply chain
- Ability to provide product knowledge across a broad range of product categories
Requirements:
- Proven track record and knowledge of sales and customer service in wholesale distribution (preferred), minimum of 2 years of experience
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal coworkers and customers
- Associates degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem solving, negotiation and sales skills
- Results-driven and goal-oriented
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
- Problem solver, able to quickly solve issues, and offer improvement ideas
- Manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner
- Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Regular and punctual attendance and ability to work weekends and holidays when necessary
- Valid Driver's License & acceptable driving record
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, crouch, kneel, and push and pull
- Requires ordinary conversation, hearing, and visual acuity
