1st, 2nd or 3rd Shift SANITATION ASSISTANTS (Bilingual Preferred)

We are searching for Sanitation Assistants to join our Sanitation Team in Newburyport, MA, at Dianne's Fine Desserts, a subsidiary of Dessert Holdings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works independently taking initiative toward improved standards of cleanliness through hands-on involvement with Sanitation processes

Maintains an active presence on the production floor with Sanitation team members

Maintains a clean, safe and sanitary work area

Ensures Sanitation equipment is maintained, operational and correctly used

Understands and correctly uses cleaning chemicals safely and efficiently

Uses proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when required
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

High School diploma or equivalent
-
Bilingual preferred
-
Familiarity with OSHA standards
-
Must be able to perform job duties at a pace that is consistent with the pace set by the Supervisor and Team Lead of the department

Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.
