Qualifications:

Minimum of 20 year(s) of experience in Federal project management OR MA/MS Degree in Environmental Science, Biological Science, Natural Resource Management, or related field

  • Experience in a Federal office environment providing project management support for complex projects.
  • Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point
  • MS Teams, Outlook, Sharepoint
Duties:

The enrollee will support project management activities for the planning and implementation of at least 10 Deepwater Horizon restoration projects on National Park units in the Gulf of Mexico. Work may include coordinating project activities, providing technical support and guidance, and managing data used to evaluate restoration effectiveness.

  • Advise on Federal NRDAR laws, regulations, and policies   40%
  • Advise on funding withdrawal protocols and prepare transfer requests   40%
  • Advise on the management of restoration monitoring data in NOAA?s Data Integration Visualization Exploration and Reporting (DIVER) tool   20%

Other:
  • Travel Requirements: Limited travel within or outside the state of Colorado may be required.
  • Overnight travel: Not to exceed 10 days over the period of performance (52 weeks)
  • Air travel anticipated: Not to exceed 2 roundtrips over the period of performance (52 weeks)
  • Rental cars: Not to exceed 10 days over the period of performance (52 weeks)
  • Physical requirements: Working in an indoor office environment, extended computer use, prolonged periods of sitting, repetitive motions.
  • Remote work arrangements are available for this position.
