Project and Property Manager with Expertise in Fine Home Construction

Our client is seeking an experienced Project and Property Manager to assume global responsibility for their Bridgehampton, NY residences and oversee significant annual renovations.

This position encompasses full responsibility for all residential construction projects, renovations, preventative maintenance, and system upgrades.

Candidates must reside within an easy commute of Bridgehampton, NY. Successful candidates will demonstrate a sound knowledge of best practices in fine home construction and provide verifiable references showcasing significant job-site experience.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all construction and renovation projects at the Bridgehampton property.
  • Daily monitoring of all projects to ensure they are completed to an elevated standard. Take photos, complete reports, and document detailed vendor meeting minutes.
  • Schedule, track, and manage routine and preventative maintenance at the property.
  • Oversee a semi-annual reset at each residence, including deep cleaning, touch-up painting, and other maintenance tasks.
  • Monitor and track spending to maintain alignment with the annual capital (Cap Ex) and operating (Op Ex) budgets.

 

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience managing day-to-day residential construction in fine homes.
  • In-depth knowledge of best industry practices, compliance, and permit requirements throughout the U.S.
  • A strong background in the trades or a degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • At least 10+ years’ experience in the construction of luxury residential homes or boutique hotels.
  • Impeccable professional history with verifiable references.
  • Solid executive skill set: mature, positive, proactive, and persistent.
  • Exceptional process, project, analytical, communication, and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours as needed.
  • Proactive and anticipatory, with a service-focused mindset.
  • Tech-savvy and able to quickly grasp new programs and applications.
  • Experience managing Cap Ex and Op Ex budgets.

 

Schedule:
Generally, Monday through Friday, business hours, with flexibility required for weekend and holiday work as needed.

 

Compensation:
Our client offers a competitive $135,000–$165,000 annual base salary, an excellent benefits package, and an annual discretionary bonus.
