Senior Project Manager

A private Family Office based in Boston, MA, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to oversee construction and renovation projects within their luxury residential portfolio. The successful candidate will act as an Owner's Representative, managing budgets, timelines, and contractors while ensuring compliance with regulations for all capital improvements.

 

This position is based in the Boston, MA office and requires travel to properties in New England, New York, Florida, Bermuda, and other locations as needed.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the liaison between principals and design contractors, architects, and consultants, ensuring the principals' vision is central.
  • Create and manage detailed budgets, reconcile invoices, and ensure alignment with quotes and contracts.
  • Develop and oversee project schedules, coordinating regular updates with contractors and vendors.
  • Maintain the highest standards of safety and security across all worksites, adhering to OSHA standards.
  • Manage junior Project Managers and team members as required.
  • Communicate progress updates to the Director of Project Management weekly.
  • Ensure worksite professionalism, cleanliness, and adherence to safety plans.
  • Travel to oversee and manage on-site work at properties across multiple locations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience managing luxury residential construction projects of varying sizes and complexities.
  • Expertise in home automation systems and cold/warm climate building techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of landscaping, forestry, and fine gardening projects is a plus.
  • Familiarity with tools such as MS Office Suite, Asana, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
  • OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Proven ability to manage Cap Ex and Op Ex budgets.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work at heights, lift heavy objects, and adapt to varying environmental conditions.
  • Valid driver's license, passport, and legal authorization to work in the U.S.

 

Schedule:

Generally, Monday to Friday, business hours with flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as requested.

 

Compensation:

Base compensation of $170,000 - $190,000 offered, depending on experience.
