Outside Sales Representative

This position involves initiating contact with clients and creating customized sales proposals that will meet our customers' needs. You will also be expected to give product demonstrations to business owners and benefits managers at businesses within your territory, as well as close sales with new customers and offer product upgrades to existing customers. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Traveling your assigned territory to directly meet with potential and current clients to discuss their requirements

  • Qualifying prospects within your assigned sales territory and building a consistent pipeline to meet sales goals

  • Quickly moving prospects through the sales process by delivering outstanding consultative, sales, and customer experience

  • Providing product and service demonstrations

  • Negotiating with potential and existing customers to close sales

  • Completing and submitting sales contracts

  • Informing clients of new products and product updates

  • Updating your sales CRM and client databases with current information

  • Attending team meetings and training workshops

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of outside sales experience preferred

  • Computer literate and familiar with using CRM software

  • Strong negotiating, planning, and consultative sales skills

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with prospective and existing customers
