Location: Amphenol: Valley Green, PA

We are currently seeking an Electrical Test Engineer to join our team. The position will be located in Valley Green, PA. As a Electrical Test Engineer for connector Mezzanine Products you will be responsible for derivative design, customer application support, verification and qualification, as well as supporting new business opportunities. This position will serve as the key electrical test engineering representative in the manufacturing plant to support manufacturing, development of new test setups, documentation, and quality issues as they arise. The position will work as part of a global cross-functional team and include customer interaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and protocols for electrical systems and components.
- Design and build test setups, including hardware and software tools, to validate electrical designs.
- Analyze and interpret test data, generating detailed reports to identify issues and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to ensure product compliance with specifications and standards.
- Debug and troubleshoot electrical systems and components to resolve technical challenges.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance processes.
- Continuously improve testing processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with electronic cable test systems (e.g., continuity, hi-pot, LLCR test, leakage test)
- Experience with automated test systems and scripting languages (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB) is a plus.
- Proficient in using electrical testing tools and equipment such as TDRs, multimeters, and test switch boxes
- General understanding of SolidWorks and or PCB design is a plus.
- Ability to communicate well with Global Customers and all levels of the organization including Management, Marketing, Sales, Process Engineering, Test Lab personnel, other Engineers (local and global).
- Ability to prioritize, work to meet objectives and to manage multiple activities/projects simultaneously.
