For over 25 years, National Experienced Workforce Solutions (NEW Solutions) has specialized in connecting experienced workers (ages 55+) with full-time and part-time job opportunities that support the critical missions of Federal Agencies across the United States.
NEW Solutions connects experienced workers (ages 55+) with the USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS). These experienced professionals provide administrative, scientific, and technical support to the Agricultural Research Service through the Experienced Worker Program (EWP).
*This position will be open until filled.
NOTE: This position has the option to work remotely. Travel is required.

Qualifications:Minimum of 20 year(s) of experience in managing informal and formal complaints; leading and conducting compliance audit and reviews; developing and presenting customized trainings to workforce; develop and present briefs to senior leadership; identify and conduct trend analysis with targeted strategies. OR AA Degree in Civil Rights Law Title VII - Certified Mediation License
- Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, Power Point
Duties:The Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Office of Outreach, Diversity and Equal Opportunity is actively working to close vacancy gaps in the organization. ODEO is in need of an Equal Employment Manager that can perform the following duties: Provide leadership in planning, developing, and managing all stages of the Informal and Formal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Complaints Program, counseling, ADR and non-ADR programs in ARS and REE mission areas. Coordinates and assures the effective implementation of rendered decisions from Settlement Agreements and/or EEOC determinations. Enrollee handles the analysis and reporting related to submission of various EEO reports (i.e. 462, Age Discrimination Report and other related EEO/CR issues). Lead and conduct complaints audits and reviews. Assist in development of strategic plans, annual business plans and the USDA CR performance plan.
- Conduct compliance audits and reviews, proposed remedies to areas of concerns and recommend corrective actions to prevent or remedy violations of EEOC policies.

- Understand and enforce employment laws and EEOC policies. Staying abreast with legislative changes impacting EEO/CR. Intake of Informal/Formal Complaints.

- Train and educate the workforce on non-discriminatory employment practices; new policies, how to enforce them and how to deal with related complaints and violations.

- Monitoring the implementation and impact of EEOC guidelines. Establish new policies or SOP as appropriate.

- Review, investigate (i.e. interview, coordinate and gather documents and physical evidence), and assess written counselor reports.
