Qualifications:Minimum of 15 year(s) of experience in philanthropy, fundraising, policy development, and/or ethics. Experience in partnerships is helpful but much of the work will be specific to philanthropic partnerships. OR BA/BS Degree - Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point
Duties:Support (1) development of strategy and the implementation of projects and programs relating to national partnerships for the National Park Service with a strong focus on the National Park Foundation and Friends Alliance and their impact/implementation in the Southeast Region and (2) development and coordination of key projects associated with partnerships, lands, and interpretation across the southeast region, with an emphasis on civil rights initiative sites. - Collaborate with the National Park Foundation (NPF) and other key high profile partners: Support NPS/Southeast Regional efforts to collaborate with the NPF, including strategy, agenda support, and program and project management and implementation; coordinate corporate volunteer efforts associated with key partners; support; develop andreview grant proposals and agreements.

- Develop, manage, and coordinate key project initiatives within the PPLIC portfolio with emphasis on civil rights sites initiatives, lands acquisition and high profile programmatic activities. 40%
- Mentor new Associate Regional Director for Partnerships, Planning, Lands, Interpretation and Community Outreach Directorate. 20%
Other:- Travel Requirements: Will be required to attend meetings and events both at the regional office and at park locations throughout the Southeast Region.

- Air travel anticipated: 5-6 times optional travel per year
- Rental cars: If travel is undertaken, rental cars may be required
