Property Manager
We are seeking a hands-on Property Manager for a busy Palm Beach primary residence. The ideal candidate will bring a professional attitude and the ability to manage a wide range of property management responsibilities while ensuring seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage residence operations, including day-to-day property maintenance.
- Demonstrate a hands-on approach by assisting with physical tasks as needed.
- Supervise property staff, including part-time, seasonal employees, and consultants.
- Collaborate with the Family Office on administrative tasks and HR-related duties.
- Assist with the hiring and training of property staff and contractors.
- Draft and manage capital and operational budgets; prepare weekly/monthly reports.
- Review, approve, and process all purchases; obtain multiple quotes to ensure value.
- Coordinate and manage vendors, performing semi-annual contract reviews.
- Manage family and staff vehicles, ensuring proper servicing, cleanliness, and off-season storage.
- Oversee the care of additional family properties in Miami and West Palm Beach.
- Provide support for landscaping, housekeeping, and other seasonal property tasks.
- Assist with special projects, family gatherings, events, and holidays as needed.
- Conduct final walkthroughs before family or guest arrivals, including review of preference sheets.
- Run errands, including dry cleaning, deliveries, and newspaper purchases.
- Assist with hospitality tasks, including support for the Hospitality Team during events.
- Participate in management calls and maintain prompt communication via emails, texts, and calls.
Key Qualifications:
- Prior experience managing fine homes, private clubs, or luxury hospitality properties.
- Comprehensive knowledge of high-end residential systems; a background in the trades is a plus.
- Proven success in property management, including vendor and project oversight.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams.
- Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and related tools.
- A professional demeanor, exceptional work ethic, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Schedule:
This role requires a 24/7 mentality with the flexibility to work any day of the week, including weekends and nights. Hours will vary, especially during family residency periods, guest visits, and special events.
Compensation:
Compensation of $150,000-$160,000 with an excellent benefits package including an annual discretionary bonus, health/dental/vision, PTO, paid holidays.
