Residence Manager and Interior Director

A Palm Beach-based client is seeking a seasoned Residence Manager with a strong background in hospitality or private service. The role focuses on overseeing the interior operations of the primary residence, working closely with the Property Manager to ensure seamless coordination among the domestic team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily walkthroughs to uphold high family standards and preferences.
• Collaborate with teams such as Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, and Spa Services.
• Report maintenance issues to the Property Manager, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking.
• Manage residence inventories, including maintaining PAR levels.
• Update the House Manual, SOPs, and checklists using SharePoint.
• Oversee staff schedules, duties, and provide ongoing training.
• Communicate family preference updates.
• Set up and host meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Coordinate projects, events, and floral arrangements.
• Manage wardrobes and assist with packing/unpacking.
• Handle driving and errands as required.
• Occasionally travel to other South Florida properties and domestic locations.

 

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a fine home, boutique hotel, or private yacht with verifiable references.
• Strong hospitality and housekeeping skills, with an exceptional eye for detail.
• Capable of working under pressure and anticipating needs intuitively.
• Loyal, discreet, and hard-working professional.
• Tech-savvy with expertise in Microsoft products and computer literacy.
• Fluent in English.

 

Schedule:
The role requires flexibility to accommodate a 5-day work week, with additional hours or days as needed, particularly during family residency months, guest visits, and events.

 

Compensation:

Compensation of $120,000 - $140,000 commensurate with experience.  Benefits include an annual discretionary bonus, medical and dental insurance, 401(k) with match, PTO, sick days, paid holidays, and more.
