Housekeeper in New Salem, NY

An executive couple with a lovely residence in North Salem, NY, would like to hire an experienced Housekeeper to join their long-term team as their Housekeeper of many years is retiring.

 

Primary responsibilities will include the daily cleaning of the home, deep cleaning projects, organization, and laundry.

 

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a fine home and have excellent hands-on cleaning skills and knowledge of how to care for fine furnishings and garments.

 

Candidates must be a good team player with solid communication skills, able to drive, and enjoy working in a home with a large, friendly dog.

 

Candidates must have the flexibility to commute into NYC one day/week to assist with the cleaning of the principals’ NYC apartment.

 

Schedule:

Generally, a Tuesday through Saturday schedule, 9:00 am to 3:00 or 4:00 pm, with flexibility needed. The clients are happy to guarantee either 30 or 35 hours per week depending on the candidate’s preference.

 

Compensation:

A compensation range of $45 to $48 per hour is offered depending on experience and qualifications. Excellent benefits include fully paid health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, paid holidays and an annual discretionary bonus.
