Administrative Assistant - Manufacturing

Position: Administrative Assistant - Manufacturing

Location: Hamden, CT

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. Our global headquarters is located in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales and manufacturing locations globally. We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team at Amphenol Spectra-Strip in Hamden, CT. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Data entry of production time logs on a daily basis
  • Support planning and purchasing of materials for the production teams
  • Update purchase order details into ERP software – “IQ System”
  • Responsible for running various reports out of the ERP software
  • Audit completed reports and time logs for accuracy, with a strong attention to detail
  • Assist the Production/Operations team with related administrative duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years of previous experience in an administrative role within a manufacturing environment
  • Prior experience working with an ERP/MRP software
  • Prior experience working with purchase orders or material planning/purchasing
  • High typing accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
