Our family-owned transportation company has been operating since 1978 and is seeking a talented and driven candidate to join our team as a Terminal Manager.
A successful candidate will have several years of experience in the trucking industry, display a sense of urgency, and place a great deal of emphasis on customer service.

The Terminal Manager will be responsible to:
•    Maintain knowledge of DOT & FMCSA Regulations
•    Manage, motivate, and lead the operational teams
•    Manage work flows within the department and set clear expectations
•    Responsible for training and the continual development of employees within the department
•    Conduct regular meetings and reviews with employees regarding operational issues and solutions
•    Develop, implement, and maintain SOP's for all operational areas
•    Project management and implementation
•    Establish and measure quality metrics for improvements
•    Identify operational efficiencies through technology
•    Develop strong working relationships with customers and vendors

Required Skills and Competencies
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management/Logistics, Business Administration or closely related field preferred
•    Exceptional communication skills
•    Ability to relate to all people at all levels
•    Ability to lead people and drive change
•    Highly organized and efficient
•    Ability to create and maintain simple workflows and processes
•    Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
•    Strong negotiating skills
•    Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement
•    Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 
•    Knowledge of TMW, Logistics Software, and PeopleNet is a plus
