Duties include cleaning administrative building, Visitor center and restrooms. Removing trash and performing grounds maintenance in the picnic area. Recycling collection. Qualifications:Minimum of 5 year(s) of experience in custodial or home cleaning services OR HS/GED Degree in No educational requirement Duties:Enrollee will perform general custodial work and support inter-division maintenance crews at Pu?uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park. Duties include cleaning administrative building, Visitor center and restrooms. Removing trash and performing grounds maintenance in the picnic area. Recycling collection. Assisting tree trimming crews with motor vehicle support and ground crew duties - Cleaning and maintaining the visitor center, restrooms, and offices 40%
- Grounds care and maintenance 20%
- Motor vehicle support as assigned 20%
- Assisting tree trimming crew with ground support 10%
- Maintaining data logs of recycled materials, cleaning supplies, and other reportable services from the maintenance division. 10%
Other:- Health and Safety Considerations: Park will provide training on these subjects: Defensive driving, Bloodborne Pathogens, First-aid CPR, Correct lifting and carrying methods, fall protection, sprains and strains, Heat stress impact, Fire extinguisher training, Respiratory safety, HAZCOMM
- Required Safety Gear: Basic PPE for handling cleaning supplies, such as gloves, goggles, hi-vis vest, hard hat
- Physical requirements: The ability to push a cart with cleaning supplies and equipment, but no lifting of objects heavier than 40 pounds.
