Aquatic Center Assistant Manager
The City is seeking assistant managers for the Aquatic Center for the 2025 summer season. This is a full-time seasonal position from May until early September.
Duties for this position include:
- Assisting Aquatic Center Manager in operation of the Muscatine Aquatic Center.
- Performing swim tests for patrons who wish to use the slides/diving board.
- Assisting in scheduling of Aquatic Center staffing.
- Acting as Aquatic Center Manger in his/her absence.
- Cleaning of stations after shift/at end of day
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Lifeguard, CPR/AED Certification is required.
- Knowledge of swimming is required.
- Ability to manage seasonal staff appropriately and safely.
- Ability to handle money and assist cashiers when needed.
- Ability to arrive ahead of time or stay late as staffing requirements need.
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent customer service
Hourly rate is $15.00.
