Technical Writer/Knowledge Manager/ Editor
Tec-Masters Inc requires a Technical Writer/Knowledge Manager/ Editor to support the Fires Battle Lab on Ft. Sill, OK.
Personnel must:
Possess a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) related Bachelors degree.
Have attended the Operations Research and Systems Analysis Military Applications Course (ORSA-MAC) completion or civilian equivalent at time hiring.
Note: Completed at a minimum 15 semester hours of Advanced Statistics, Data Science, Operations Research, Optimization, or Simulation can be substituted for the ORSA/MAC requirement.
Be able to attain a military driver's license.
Have at least two years' experience working with the military.
Become RSO certified within 90 days of hiring, maintain RSO certification
Obtain a CLS certification.
Possess a secret clearance at a minimum.
Personnel will:
Assist in the design and execution of experiments.
Conduct research across the community of practice; inform the experimentation team of research and how it applies to the design of current experiments.
Maintain a knowledge network; create a library for existing and historical fires.
Attain historical records of reports and EXSUMs produced by the FBL
Review and edit EXSUMS and reports produced by the Fires Battle Labs.
Compile, write and publish reports after completing any experimentation processed by the FBL.
Supervise and edit experimentation design and analysis, and data collection management plans for each experiment to include metrics of collection and analysis
Supervise and edit data collector training and surveys/questionnaires for each experiment.
Supervise, edit, and perform data science techniques using R or Python programming tools.
Supervise, edit, create, and visualize statistical data models with data using R or Python programming tools.
Supervise, edit, and present all insights and results briefs/reports for each experiment.
Assist in the development of learning demands for each experiment.
Attend conferences, planning meetings, and working groups involving current and future warfighting concepts and weapon systems.
