Program Manager

The Program Manager will manage and overseeing various projects which will include global transfer of products and may include New Product Introduction, JDM /ODM or cost optimization projects. These projects will range from simple tracking of project milestones to more complex interactions and tracking on design and manufacturing deliverables to meet delivery expectations. These responsibilities will also include regular status reporting, metrics reporting and conducting weekly project calls which will involve different cross-functional teams in different time zones. The Program Manager will lead project team and ensure critical processes are followed throughout project while maintaining project schedule, product requirements and budget.

The role will be based in Richardson, TX.  

How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

  • Define and lead the project team in completing all project phases, deliverables, and activities
  • Drive project plans to ensure time frame, technical & cost requirements, and ensure project team remains within budget, quality, and schedule agreements
  • Ensure common understanding within the project team with regards to objectives and goals and timing
  • Manage communications, activities and interactions between cross-functional teams in different regions
  • Coordinating and drive schedule for NPI and Mass Production builds with supplier. · Manage phase in/out plans for products across suppliers
  • Management of all project activities and decision-making forum between project gate reviews
  • Regularly report on program quality, status, timelines, and costs to senior management
  • Minimize exposure and risk to projects through contingency planning and mitigation.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Bachelor's Degree w 12 years related experience or Master’s degree with 8 years
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including MS Project
  • Experience in manufacturing or related environment, contract manufacturing a plus
  • Experience in managing multiple work streams and competing priorities
  • Strong financial skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel
  • Experience with SAP and Business Objects is a plus
