Payroll and Benefits Assistant

Amphenol is one of the largest manufacturers of interconnect products in the world. Position: Payroll and Benefits Assistant

Location: Nashua, NH

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales, and manufacturing locations globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Process employment record changes related to new hires, terminations, and job assignments into various systems
  • Provide systems related support for payroll, benefits administration, FMLA, employment changes
  • Assist with payroll processing - auditing weekly and semi-monthly payroll, completing reports and other related tasks
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee leave requests and benefits administration
  • Professionally represent the company with a strong customer focus and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Assist with additional payroll and benefits projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Human Resources, focus on payroll and/or benefits is preferred
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • Prior experience with an HRIS
  • Ability to handle confidential information, multi-task and show a strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn new computer applications
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Demonstrated ability to professionally communicate with all levels of the organization
