The Customer Service Representatives (CSR) are the first point of contact at EPH and should be friendly, resourceful, and organized. These individuals work under the supervision of the Hospital Administrator and must communicate effectively with team members as well as clients and other pet professionals.
The ideal candidate has both customer service and administrative experience, possesses good leadership qualities, and is a problem-solver. Veterinary experience is preferred, but not required. Some experience in the pet-care industry is desired. We are willing to train the right person!

Responsibilities:
- Greeting & welcoming clients.
- Answering incoming phone calls.
- Place outgoing phone calls.
- Triage phone calls to other team members and/or leave a message for a doctor, CVT (Certified Veterinary Technician), or Hospital Administrator.
- Follow established written protocols.
- Schedule appointments.
- Manage the receptionist email including sending, receiving, and accurately entering medical records.
- Obtain & process payments.
- Account for closing the books at the end of the day including counting the cash drawer.
- Sell over-the-counter merchandise. Learn knowledge of products.
- Light cleaning duties of the lobby area.
- Attending monthly staff meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Hospital Administrator.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Customer service experience (required).
- Basic computer skills (required - being comfortable navigating computers and learning new software is necessary for this position).
- Experience working in a veterinary or pet-care setting (preferred).
- Experience working in an office environment (preferred).
We are currently looking to fill a full-time position. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits after successful completion of a 90-day probation period. Benefits offered to full-time employees at EPH include health, dental, vision, and life, insurance, 401k, paid-time-off and holiday pay, as well as an annual uniform allowance.
Pay for this position is based on experience & level of education. There is room for growth and advancement with the company.
