Bridgetown is currently in search of a dynamic and client-oriented individual to join our team as a Referral Coordinator for the Surgery department. As the initial point of contact for new and existing clients, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for both pets and their owners. Primary Job Duties:
- The Referral Coordinator acts as the primary contact for pet parents who want/who have already scheduled an appointment with a Specialist or has general questions about our Specialty services.
- The Referral Coordinator will also act at the primary administrative contact for referring clinics that wish to transfer a patient to our facility for further care (specialty transfer - such as setting up a consultation)
- The Referral Coordinator is responsible for obtaining and reviewing referring veterinarian records for specialty appointments.
- The Referral Coordinators work closely with the specialty department doctors, technicians and the client service team to promote an efficient workflow.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role in a veterinary setting is required. Specialty experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, multitasking abilities, and a high attention to detail.
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of veterinary management software. (ezyVet knowledge a plus!)
- Compassion for animals and a genuine interest in their well-being.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with professionalism.
