Job Summary:
The Pediatric Therapy Case Manager is responsible for ensuring all children referred for related services through the CPSE and CSE programs (preschool and school age special education programs) are staffed to the appropriate therapist/s and receive the services approved in the school documentation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review all IEPs (therapy documentation) and ensure information is accurate and appropriate
- Ensure all required paperwork is obtained in a timely manner for services to begin
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry for cases
- Review all progress reports and annual review reports to ensure county standards are met
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise throughout the life of a case
- Work closely with the Billing and Accounts Receivable Departments to ensure timely billing and payment of provided services.
- Remain current and ensure all cases meet state and county regulations
- Train all newly compliant CPSE/CSE related service providers on county and state regulations.
- Provide coverage for CPSE Staffing Coordinator as needed
- Other duties assigned by Director as needed

Qualifications and Other Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Prior office experience preferred
- Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills required
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills required
- Excellent demonstrated follow-up skills & attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member
- Strong relationship building skills-must be able to communicate effectively to all levels of staff
- Demonstrated adaptability and ability to manage change
- Must be resilient.
- Possesses a positive, can-do, flexible persona always
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally ascends/descends stairs going to, while at, or leaving work location or facilities traveled to for work events.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time up to 90% of the workday working on a computer/electronic device.
- The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
- The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

Compensation: Full-time non-exempt $25 per hour.
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm, overtime required as needed.
