Facilities and Project Coordinator
BayView Industries, Inc. in Green Bay, WI is looking to hire a full-time Project Coordinator. Would you like to work for a company that values their employees with a supportive team environment? If you have project and bidding experience, then we may have the opportunity for you!
This position coordinates plant/warehouse location moves as well as other location specific special projects. Position assists our managers with setting up services for overall operation with a strong focus on maintaining safe / organized facilities.
The job responsibilities include:
- Act as a liaison with providers and management to coordinate facility construction improvements.
- Review bids/proposals for work to determine overall best vendor for projects.
- Outlines tasks needed for project completion.
- Manage timing/scheduling of construction/repair work.
- Contact vendors to request service quotes and assist in selecting new service vendors.
- Maintain dialogue with management, contractors, and service providers to identify and resolve concerns.
- Review contracts and prepare for signature.
- Request insurance certificate documentation from vendors.
- Research local regulations and ordinances to ensure compliance.
- Identifies and acquires necessary permitting for operations at the facilities.
- Perform facility inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards are followed.
- Process lease payments for properties using leasing software to track costs and expenses.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with location managers.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
The right person should be able to prioritize multiple tasks and projects to meet goals, have strong communication skills, the understanding of building/planning principles, and have a strong understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and how to interpret regulations.
Also, you should have advanced skills in Microsoft Suite, which should include tools for project management and can demonstrate experiences in contract review and property management.
An associate or bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
