Project Administrator - Engineering

WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a member of the Engineering team, the Project Administrator will manage and create project schedules across all Engineering groups. Will be responsible for keeping the team's day-to-day document review on track by providing upkeep and standardization of documents as they move through the workflow. The ideal candidate will have the knowledge and experience to assist in building training materials and will help standardize current engineering workflow items and more. Other essential duties include:
- Define project requirements, coordinate and facilitate project communication
- Organize and define the total scope of a project plan
- Assist the lead engineers in developing and executing project plans
- Review reports to determine or address problems
- Plan, administer, and complete assigned projects within budget and scheduling restraints
- Interpret engineering drawings and documents. Help correct errors identified during manufacturing and purchasing operations
- Coordinate with manufacturing and purchasing to order and secure parts for ongoing engineering projects
- Other duties as assigned or required
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
- 3+ years of relevant experience working within Engineering, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or other similar environment
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in either Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical, or closely related discipline or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Experience creating training materials and programs related to manufacturing or Aerospace
- Extremely well versed in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project
- Strong technical writing experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly self-motivated and able to motivate others to keep deadlines
- A background in Manufacturing is preferred
- Ability to follow prescribed process, specifications, and guidelines
- Work well independently and in a team with a positive attitude & professional presence
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future
