Housekeeping Associate (Day Shift, No Weekends)

Job Summary: Performs duties within the Bay Family of Companies locations in East Green Bay. Travel required between divisions, Monday thru Friday. No nights and weekends. Paid holidays off!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas.
  • Sweeps, vacuums, mops, & scrubs.
  • May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
  • Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
  • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
  • Dust furniture & walls.
  • Empty wastebaskets, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
  • Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts.
  • Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
  • Wash windows and woodwork.
  • Prepare rooms for meetings.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
