House Manager

Position Summary:

A executive couple in Bridgehampton NY are looking to hire an experienced House Manager to take full responsibility for the smooth running of their residence.

 

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include

  • Assuming global responsibility for the smooth operation of the residence and property
  • Primary POC for the principals
  • Manage the small household team, coordinate schedules
  • Liaise with the Family Office
  • Oversee and schedule vendors
  • Plan seasonal maintenance
  • Manage the general maintenance and upkeep of the home and property
  • Assist with projects
  • Manage household inventories

 

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be highly organized and hands-on with experience leading successful teams in private homes. The principals are looking for a team player with great communication skills who brings out the best in their colleagues. You should be tech savvy with a high EQ.  Experience with systems and infrastructure maintenance for a fine home and surrounding property is considered a plus. 

 

Schedule:

Generally, five days a week, including weekends in season. The rest of the year is primarily a weekday schedule, business hours. This is a full-time, year-round role.

 

Compensation:

Excellent compensation of $145k -  $175k per year offered based on qualifications and experience which will include a benefits package.
